Vayuputra: 3D Animation Film on Lord Hanuman Announced, First-Look Poster Unveiled

🙏 A grand new chapter in Indian animation has begun with the announcement of ‘Vayuputra’, a 3D animated film based on the tales of Lord Hanuman. Produced by Naga Vamsi and directed by Chandoo Mondeti of ‘Thandel’ and ‘Karthikeya’ fame, the film promises a larger-than-life spiritual adventure for audiences.
The first-look poster, revealed on September 10, shows Hanuman towering over a burning Lanka, his fiery tail symbolising one of the most iconic episodes of the Ramayana. The film is being marketed as an immersive 3D experience, allowing viewers to relive Hanuman’s journey like never before.
Scheduled for a Dussehra 2026 release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, ‘Vayuputra’ is expected to inspire generations with its storytelling. The project is being produced under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Following the massive success of ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ earlier this year, which grossed over Rs 300 crore, ‘Vayuputra’ adds to the growing trend of mythological animated films in India. With its ambitious vision, this film is shaping up to be a landmark moment for Indian animation cinema.
